Receive Assistance

If you are a Hagersville or surrounding rural resident (N0A 1H0) and find yourself in need of assistance please call (289)-758-3789 and leave a message to arrange an intake interview. Intake appointments take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once completed, you will receive 3-4 days worth of groceries for your family.

Kindly note that we are only able to respond to interview requests in the manner specified above. Appointments are unable to be scheduled via social media platforms.

The intake interview will consist of one of our staff members explaining how the food bank system works, including how to call ahead each month to receive future help. We will answer any questions that you have as well as provide you with information for other agencies that you may be able to find additional support from. Most, importantly we will be able to provide you with approximately one weeks worth of groceries.

New clients will need to bring ID and a recent piece of mail showing your current address. We do not take photocopies of any information submitted and all information shared with us is stictly confidential.

Please also bring with you shopping bags for grocery collection.

The hampers are taylored to family sizes. The food they contain is predetermined and will vary each week.

Hampers contain approximately 4 days of food. They contain perishable and fresh non perishable items such as produce, milk, meat and eggs.

Other donated items such as bread, desserts and meat will be available each week depending on availability.

If you are in need of baby supplies such as diapers, wipes, and formula please inform our staff in advance. We do not always have these items available as our supplies our dependant upon donations received. We will be happy to connect you with organizations that may be able to supply these items for you if we are unable to.
